1. Drain Heater/Cooler. Close drainage release values when done.
2. Wipe down machine with Caviwipes.
3. Remove tubes and water cap from heater/cooler. Spray each port with caviwipe spray 4 times and let set for 5 minutes.
4. Wipe off access caviwipe spray for 2 minutes.
5. Reconnect hoses in appropriate manor for mixing.
6. Fill tanks to 2nd orange line (click here for picture). Add 180ml bleach or 450ml of Minncare. Continue water fill to green line (click here for example).
7. Adjust the settings:
Cold: 10
Warm: 20
Press the cold cardioplegia button and let run for 5 minutes.

8. Set tubing back to the normal setup. Spray/wipe as needed.
9. Press the warm cardioplegia button and both circuit buttons on the right (click here for picture). Let run for 10 minutes.
10. Drain, and refill with just water. Run the machine again as you did in step 9 for 3 minutes and repeat this step one more time and then drain.
11. Ensure the drain nozzles are closed and begin to fill the heater/cool with distilled water. Stop filling once the orange light (click here for picture) blinks the second reservoir indicator. Add in 150ml of 3% hydrogen peroxide. Continue filling with water until the light indicator shows that the heater/cooler is full (click here for picture). Do not continue to fill after all the lights are green. Finally place the cap back on the machine.
12. Adjust the settings:
Cold: 10
Warm: 20
Press the cold cardioplegia button and let run for 5 minutes.

13. Set tubing back to normal. Spray/wipe as needed.
14. Replace suction canister and tubing.
15. Sample water to ensure hydrogen peroxide concentration.
